The J Series soprano features a classic arched chamber and a medium height baffle. The response is ultra quick and the pitch is extremely even through the range of the horn. The sound is warm with plenty of projection.

| The J Series alto offers a very traditional feel and comfort with modern projection and brilliance. The mouthpiece features a medium chamber with a medium high baffle. The sound is bright and powerful without sacrificing the lyrical quality of the alto sax.

The J series mouthpieces are available in the following facings:
Soprano: .055, .060, .065, .070, .075, .080 These facings are roughly equivalent to an Otto Link 5* (.055), 6 (.060), etc.
Alto: .072, .076, .080, .084, .088, .092 These facings are roughly equivalent to a Meyer 5M (.072), 6M (.076), etc.
Tenor: .080, .085, .090, .095, .100, .105, .110, .115, .120, .125, .130, .135 These facings are roughly equivalent to an Otto Link 5 (.080), 5* (.085), etc.
Baritone: .090, .095, .100, .105, .110, .115, .120, .125, .130, .135, .140
